When starting a new minibus lease, there will be important things to consider which will dictate certain elements of your contract. We've listed some of the common considerations below, and our friendly team can also help at 03330 981 562.
Minibus lease agreements will be based on the term that you will have the minibus for. Our contracts typically range from 1 to 5 years, with longer leases normally offering lower monthly rentals.
A minibus lease agreement is also based on the number of miles that you will drive the minibus for - known as the 'Total Contract Mileage'. The higher the total contract mileage, the higher the monthly rental, however it is important to choose the right mileage for your institution so that you do not incur Excess Mileage Charges for exceeding this.
Total Contract Mileages can be as little as 5,000 miles per annum (mpa), with 1,000-mile increments up to 30,000mpa (depending on the funder).
This will determine which minibuses are suitable for your institution. Minibuses range in size, with 9, 12, 15 and 17 seat configurations being the most common.
If you require the minibus to be suitable for drivers without a D1 licence, our FlexiLite Minibus and Minibus Lite products will be the most suitable for you.
When transporting passengers who require wheelchair access, the minibus will need specific options to be included, such as ramps or lifts. The cost for this will be included in your monthly rental.
You may wish to display your institution's livery or logo on the side of your minibus for easy recognition. All of our quotations include livery or logo sign-writing, which will be carried out before the minibus is delivered to you.
