The idea for the Valiant came after a personal commission for Fernando Alonso. The F1 star said he wanted a “more extreme, racecar-inspired version” of the Valour, a car that’s currently in production.
Aston Martin has delivered on Alonso’s request with a road-legal race car containing a screaming 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine that produces 734bhp and 753Nm of torque through a manual six-speed gearbox.
Exterior & styling
Aston Martin engineers have made structural adjustments to reduce weight and drag, resulting in the Valiant's more dramatic, track-focused styling compared to the Valour.
A prominent front splitter with F1-inspired multi-layer end plates smooths airflow past the front wheels. A full-width carbon fibre grille enhances air intake to the engine, while sculpted wings improve aerodynamics.
Aero discs on the new lightweight 21-inch magnesium wheels minimise turbulence, and six inlets direct cooling air to the carbon-ceramic brakes.
At the rear, there’s a stylish Kamm tail design with an impressive fixed wing sitting above and four central exhaust tips below.
Release date & pricing
The exclusive Aston Martin Valiant is the British manufacturer’s latest low-production offering. Just 38 cars will be made in a production run that’ll start later this year. It’s understood that each car will cost around £2million.
Aston Martin will debut the Valiant at the 2024 Goodwood Festival of Speed next month.
