Honda 0 Saloon and 0 SUV Concepts Revealed

Brand-new Honda 0 Series concepts were revealed at the recent Consumer Electronics Show (CES). The 0 models included a wedge-shaped Saloon and a medium-sized SUV.

Honda says both cars will be ready for production in 2026. The 0 Series range (which will include the Saloon, SUV and 5 other models by 2030) will be built in Honda’s Ohio plant, reaching markets in North America first before heading to Europe.

The 0 SUV will be the first of the new cars to arrive. The electric SUV is the more conventional of the new concepts and already looks like a production vehicle with its clean, blocky design. Towards the back though, the EV looks a little more unusual due to its elongated estate-like rear and small restrictive window.

Meanwhile, the 0 Saloon has a striking design and is expected to compete in the luxury class against models like the Mercedes EQS and Lucid Air. The model has been toned down slightly since its 2024 preview, losing its gullwing doors, but plenty of funky features remain.

Both models will be built on newly developed EV architecture featuring next-generation technologies that embody Honda’s "Thin, Light and Wise" development approach.

At this year’s CES, Honda focused on the “Wise” part of its approach by revealing Level 3 automated driving technology for its 0 Series cars. This means drivers will be able to take their eyes off the road to perform a second task while the car is moving.

Honda also announced its new operating system named Asimo. This will provide each driver with a personalised mobility experience.

We don’t yet know the price or specification of the new models, but we do know they’ll be lighter and more aerodynamic than Honda’s current EVs with over 300 miles of range predicted for the 0 Saloon.
