Specifications
Based on the Stellantis STLA-M platform, the E-5008 will have three electric powertrain options.
The entry-level 210 Single Motor variant has 207bhp, a 73kWh battery and 311 miles of range. Next, is the 230 Long Range Single Motor that has 227bhp, a huge 98kWh battery and 410 miles of range.
Topping the electric line-up is the 320 Duel Motor AWD that has 316bhp, a 73kWh battery and around 300 miles of range.
All the E-5008s will be able to rapid charge at 160kW speeds. If an electric vehicle isn’t for you, Peugeot has also made a 134bhp mild-hybrid option and a plug-in hybrid option that’ll be available after launch.

Exterior
Measuring 4790mm in length, the seven-seat SUV is 250mm longer than its shorter E-3008 sibling. Despite the size difference, the two SUVs share many design similarities.
Up front, Peugeot’s striking three-claw lights sit on either side of a patterned grill which blends into the body colour. Above, is an elegant black band that wraps around the bonnet line, connecting the LED headlights.
At the back, the SUV is large and boxy to accommodate the extra row of seats. Peugeot has opted for Meteor Grey and Orbital Black contrast paint elements over the chrome accents found on the petrol 5008.
The wheels come in sizes ranging from 19 to 20 inches and boast intricate geometric designs adorned with the Peugeot emblem. The E-5008 is available in six colours: Artense Grey, Titanium Grey, Pearl Black, Okenite White, Obsession Blue and Ingaro Blue.
Interior & tech
Inside, the E-5008 offers ample space for seven passengers, with a 259-litre boot capacity when all seats are upright. Folding the third row expands the cargo area to 748 litres, and folding the middle row opens up a vast 1,815 litres of space.
Above is a sweeping panoramic glass roof with an opening front section that floods the interior with natural light.
In the front, the cabin is the same as the one in the E-3008. It features a giant 21-inch ‘Panoramic i-Cockpit’ display with integrated Chat GPT as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

Pricing & release date
The Peugeot E-5008 is set to go on sale this autumn. UK pricing hasn’t been confirmed but it’s expected that the electric SUV will be priced just below the £50,000 mark.
