Tesla has unveiled the powerful Performance version of its popular Model 3 saloon, following the EV’s facelift last year.
A new bespoke Performance design includes Tesla’s latest generation drive unit, which allows the EV to go from 0-60mph in just 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 163mph with a 460hp power output.
An all-new adaptive damping system improves ride and handling in real-time while an updated Track Mode feature allows drivers to customise stability controls for an exhilarating ride.

Despite the extra power, the Performance model still manages an impressive 328-mile range. Tesla has added subtle styling tweaks for improved efficiency and a distinctive design.
The front end looks more aggressive than the rest of the Model 3 line-up with a redesigned air intake and additional cooling ducts. Forged 20-inch alloy wheels are also unique to the model.
At the back, there’s a deeper rear diffuser, plus a carbon-fibre spoiler that provides extra stability and flair. Inside, new Sport seats feature enhanced bolstering, heating, ventilation and a more engaging driving position.
The Model 3 Performance is ready to order now for £59,990. This is £10,000 more than the Long Range All-Wheel Drive trim and £20,000 more than the Rear-Wheel Drive trim.
